Zachary played his first t-ball game last night. Here are a few pictures:

Zachary made it to third base, waiting for the next batter so he can run home!
And he slides into home! SCORE!

Update as promised
I've got so much to update on. I am going to start with the present and work my way backwards, it's easier that way!
This past Friday night my work hosted a baby shower for Mike and I . We got so many goodies! My lifelong friend/sister Nikki worked hard teaching herself how to crochet and she made the baby a wonderful baby blanket! I cried, it is beautiful and I will cherish it forever. Nikki and my friend Kerry also got the baby a onesie that has a picture of the "Hello My Name is name badge" that says "Hello, My name is Ben (Zachary's little brother)." It is so cute! We are going to have a t-shirt made for Zachary that looks similiar but says "Hello, My name is Zachary (Ben's big brother). " We have 200 newborn and size 1 diapers to start with also! Yippee!!! Our next shower is June 21 with my mom's family.
A good friend of mine had a bridal shower on Sunday. It was beautiful. The shower was at her friends house in her backyard next to the pool. The weather was great and so was the company. Congratulations Stacie and Chris! Their wedding will at the same location (June 7th) of the bridal shower but with just a few family members and their kids.
Sunday after the shower we spent the rest of the day at my parents house for a cookout. It was a beautiful day!
I had a doctors appointment last week, argh! I've gained 22 pounds and really hope I can work to not gain a ton more these last few weeks. I go back on June 3, every 2 week appointments now. At my appointment I asked my doctor about a rib / back pain I've been having she said it sounded like I have gallstones so I had to go to the hospital on Thursday to have an ultrasound of my upper abdomen. The technician said she didn't see anything but would give the results to the radiologist to review and I would get the results at my next doctors appointment. If it is my gallbladder I have to have it removed 4 weeks after the baby is born. Great another surgery! I pray it isn't and if it is maybe it's something that will go away after the baby is born and I can avoid another surgery. I've also been having really bad pelvic pain, my doctor said that I am already dropping and that the pain is from my body preparing for birth, can't I tell it that it doesn't have to prepare that I'm being sliced open! It hurts to stand and to sleep, I look like a hunched over old lady when I try to stand up! My swelling isn't as bad as it used to be but I've been watching my diet really carefully so it doesn't get out of control. I want to be able to work until July 3 and then I'll have a week off before delivery.
Mike and Zachary put together the crib and changing table. We bought Ben a dresser and Zachary a new mattress since his was a pretty cheap one and it was really uncomfortable. The boys room is coming together, still have a lot of work to do on it and we will have it done soon.
We planted a ton of flowers a few weekends ago, it makes the house look much better. Of course I need to remember to water them each night or they will die. They started wilting the other day in the hot sun, so I over watered them that night and they looked much better in the evening.
Zachary has Preschool graduation this Sunday, June 1. I will probably cry. He's growing up so fast and over the past few months I've noticed him maturing a lot. I can't believe he's my baby and he's almost 6 years old. I love that boy, he's mamma's boy. He loves to cuddle with me and is always telling me that I stole his heart or that I fill his heart with love. My little charmer!!!! At times I wonder how hard it is going to be to share the love with 2 kids. I don't want to favor one over the other and I hope I never catch myself doing that. It's going to be hard to balance but from what I'm told it comes naturally.
My cousin is having a yard sale this weekend and has a ton of baby stuff I am going to go through. I hope I'll be able to get up early enough to make it there! This Friday afternoon we are going to Columbus for a wedding for my cousin (on my mom's side). Who gets married on a Friday??? It's just weird, but it's their wedding. I'm not sure what time we'll get home Friday night and how I'll be feeling, that all will play a factor in how early I wake up on Saturday for the yard sale.
Okay, this post is all over the place. Sorry! I'm searching my mind to figure out what I need to update on!
Happy 29th Birthday to my dear friend Nikki! LOVE YA!

Kicking my ass....
It's too early into the pregnancy for me to feel like I'm getting my ass kicked! A little less than 8 weeks go to until my c-section and I am ready to throw in the white towel and admit defeat.
I have been having light contractions at night, I'm stressed as hell because of work, I cry all the time and my weight gain has gone up to 20 lbs.
I just needed a bitch fest. I'm tired, I want to go home.

I never expected this....
I'm excited....
My mom's mom - my grandma mary called me last night to let me know she wants to give me a small family shower for the baby. It's scheduled for June 21. I never expected a shower from anyone. (Especially since I was told by my step mom it's just wrong to have a shower for the second child.) It will only be about 10 people from my mom's side of the family but still this little guy will have something to fill that section of his baby book.
And then, I get to work today and my co-worker (the one who is leaving me) and my boss decided they wanted to hold a shower for me and invite people I am associated with through work. It is Friday, May 23 at 6pm. Again I was thrilled.
Mike and I talked about having a family get together / welcome party for the baby this summer. I'll see how I feel and if I can get something planned.
I never expected a shower from anyone and I am thrilled that I will get two small showers. I think every new baby deserves a celebration - not necessarily a gift giving celebration but his new life deserves to be celebrated just as much as his older brothers life was celebrated 6 years ago.
I am going to work on creating a registry at Wal-Mart and Target (my boss asked me to put something together so they could inform the people they invite.).
