I'm going back to school.
It's only one class now, but I am going back. My goal is to keep at it and finish my damn degree!
I'm super excited and nervous.

I am so excited Spring is here. Spring and Fall are my two favorite seasons, just warm enough not to be all sweaty and to enjoy the outdoors.
We've already made a trip to the park and started doing yard work outside. Last year we spent way too much time inside because we had a lot of indoor repairs and improvements we were trying to get done before Ben was born.
The boys are doing great. Our house is finally healthy. Zachary is having a little bit of allergy problems, his singul.ar doesn't seem to be working as well as it has in the past. I'm going to call his pediatrician this week to see if we're able to give him anything else to supplement it. We are signing Zachary up for t-ball again this year. I left several messages with the local organization because we missed the original sign up but no one has called me back yet. I guess that's something else to add to my to do list.
Ben is standing up on everything. He wakes up in the middle of the night and stands up in his crib and jumps and cries until someone rescues him. We've started him on little finger snack foods and he's enjoying making a mess. He's also on stage 3 foods, juice and using a sippy cup. I really want to hold off getting his first haircut until he's a year old but I don't think we'll be able to. His hair is long and in his eyes and hanging over his ears. We had Zachary's cut a few days before his first birthday and it made him look so much older. I don't want to do that with Benny yet. I want to keep him my baby forever.
We had to go shopping yesterday to get the boys new Spring clothes. Ben was completly out of clothes he could wear. He's in 12 month clothes now. Zachary needed a few good pairs of shorts and t-shirts. We were able to find Zachary a good pair of summer sandles as well. I got a new purse and a few pair of Old Navy flip flops. The only flip flops I wear are Old Navy because they are comfy and I like the way they fit.
Saturday night I got to go out with my friends for a little bit while my parents watched the boys and took them to visit my grandparents (their great grandparents). I haven't seen my one friend since she got married nearly 5 years ago! She has a little boy who is 10 months old and is doign great. I was so happy to get to see her. It's been too long that we've been out of contact. She is happy and doing well. My other friend lives in the same town as us so I see her often. She and I try to go to lunch a few times a month. She's getting married in 2 weeks and is stressing over the last minute details.
Operation Wii Fit get Misti Fit isn't going as well as I wanted it to. I need a "I hate food pill". It's so damn hard to manage what I eat when I enjoy eating so much. My first goal was a few pounds before my friends wedding (the one mentioned above) but I most likely won't get there. The Wii is doing okay, but in the first three days I gained a quarter of a pound. What the hell! Wrong direction Mr. Scale. It's really hard for me to focus. Especially when I live in a house where the boys eat nothing but junk food and fatty food. It's really hard to cook two different meals all the time. Mike and Zachary refuse to eat healthier, more veggies and fruits, less fast food and less processed foods. Nope....that's what they prefer. I did purchase a lot of Smart Ones meals for me to have at lunch and I packed my lunch almost every day last week. I forgot my lunch today, so fast food it is.
I am just so tired of being a lard ass - I want to be the skinny girl I once was!!!!
I have pictures of the boys to post but I need to get them off my digital camera. Cuteness at the park! I'll download them tonight or tomorrow.
We finally got the Wii fit last night. Yeah!
According to the Wii I am fat a$$ so I am going to be doing nightly workouts. I think it's something I will stick with because it feels like I am just playing instead of actually exercising. I also went to the grocery store and bought healthier foods for home and for me to pack for work lunch.
My first goal is 22 lbs in 3 months. It was the largest # Wii would let me choose. My overall goal is 80-90lbs. We'll see!
Last night we had to to to Lowes to pick up a few things. After we were done we went to Tractor Supply to say hi to my brother, Roger. Here are some pictures I snapped when I was there.

I was walking behind Mike as he was pushing the cart and caught a glimpse of the boys and had to snap a picture. This is adorable! Age difference, 5 years 9 1/2 months. Just a quick post. Ben has 4 yes, I said it FOUR new teeth coming in! He has his two bottom teeth he got in December and now his top middle and one on each side of his middle have all cut through. It makes him look so much older.

I was trying to get him to show off his new teeth. 7 1/2 months old and he has 6 teeth! I think he's going to need to get his hair cut before he's a year old. It's getting long, I have to brush it out of his face.Everyone one in our house has been sick since November. I am DONE - DONE! I have no more vacation or sick time to use and am stuck having to ask my parents to stay home with my sick kids. It's driving me nuts.
So a little update....
The entire month of February Zachary ran a temp of 101 every single night. He was lethargic, sick, wouldn't eat, lost 6lbs and took naps after school. The temps were gone by morning but would start up again at night. The poor boy had 2 separate blood work draws done, for a total of 12 tubes of blood, a chest x-ray and several nasal and throat swabs. Still not sure what was/is wrong with him. His white blood cell count is very high so he's on an antibiotic and we're hoping it helps.
Other than that Zachary has had the flu / stomach bug 5 times. He even had a flu shot.
I lost my voice and it's been gone for 3 days now, I can't talk at all. Blessing to my husband, but it's difficult to deal with. One top of that I've had the flu and a cold off and on since December.
Benjamin is running a temp of 102.4 today! I have no time to take to be home with him and Mike has to be at work because he's the only manager in town right now. Thanks to my wonderful mother in law he's with her. I feel SO GUILTY though because I complain when other kids who have temps are around my baby and here I go being on that end and now Ben is with his two cousins and he's running a temp. Both of them were sick all last week, so I'm hoping that they don't get it. Plus he's small and doesn't play with the same toys they play with and can be kept away from them. He was sick the first two weeks of February, drinking only peidalyte and he lost 2 lbs. He has continued to have a runny nose and now he has a horrible cough.
CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!
On top of all of this Mike's uncle passed away last week, we had the service to tend to on Friday. Our furnace decided last week to start giving us fits, it worked then it didn't then it did and not it doesn't. We are living at my parents house until we can get a new furnace installed, it might be another 3 to 4 days. GOD HELP ME!
I just needed to complain and to rant. Really hoping that will make everyone feel better, give me my voice back and fix our furnace. My poor doggie has to live at our house all by herself because we have no where to take her. Luckily she is a husky so she loves the cold.
DAMN WINTER - GO AWAY, FAR, FAR AWAY FROM ALL OF US!!!!!
